Android System Stability Engineer


For our client, we are looking for candidates for the position: 

Android System Stability Engineer

 

Project: Telecommunications sector. Maintenance and analysis of Android system stability in mobile devices. The engineering work involves diagnosing issues reported from user devices and analyzing system logs to identify the causes of crashes, malfunctions, and performance problems.

Technology stack: C/C++, Android (bootloader, kernel, HAL, system services), ADB, logcat, systrace, perf, Gradle.

Work methodology: SCRUM.

Collaboration model: Warsaw, on-site work (100%).

Availability: 3-month notice period accepted.

Scope of duties

Analyzing and diagnosing system issues in Android OS.

Identifying root causes of problems and proposing fixes and improvements.

Performing stability analysis and optimizing existing software.

Collaborating with expert teams in issue analysis.

We expect

Minimum 5 years of experience working with Android OS.

Experience in Android system stability: bootloader, kernel, drivers, HAL.

Very good knowledge of C/C++.

Familiarity with toolchains, cross-compilation, profilers, packaging, ADB, bootloop analysis.

Knowledge of build systems: Gradle, Ant, Make.

Good command of English (spoken and written).

University degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have:

Experience in Android system maintenance teams.

Knowledge of Java sufficient to understand Android services.

Experience with embedded systems, IoT, and wearables.
